UK Status Resident & Migrant. Local, found in Britain as far north as Northumberland. Montgomeryshire Status Recorded from a single site at Commins Coch in the west of the county. Wingspan : M & F, 19-24mm. Confusion species Y. padella. |
Flight time & Voltinity
(Univoltine)  Habitat Wherever the foodplant is found. Foodplant White willow and grey willow. Lifestage data Web forming. Eggs (probably) laid in a similar fashion to other spp. of Yponomeuta. Larva feed gregariously in a web, usually 6-12 in each web. Pupates gregariously in web. |
